We have a winter house rental in the Historic Hill section of town. Our house is from 1850 and comprises two sitting rooms (one with a fireplace), a dining room (with fireplace), private office, two bedrooms and two baths... plus a nice patio and yard.
Best of all it is walkable to the wharves and restaurants - in fact, one of Birch's earliest walking adventures was to go down to Aquidneck Lobster Seafood Market at the end of Bannister's Wharf and walk home with live lobsters.
We look forward to many adventures ahead as we split time between northwestern Connecticut and Newport!
